Study Spaces

Book a Study Room

  • Online booking is available 24 hours in advance and up to two weeks ahead
  • Same-day bookings are available in-person at the individual study room.
  • Bookings are for 3 hours maximum.
  • a current Whitworth login is required to book study rooms

Study Room Policies

  • Room reservations are available to Whitworth faculty, students, or staff only.
  • Single rooms are for single users only.
  • Rooms may be booked for 3 hours maximum.
  • Unscheduled users must vacate room when scheduled user arrives.
  • Users lose reservation if not claimed within 10 minutes of scheduled time.
  • Whiteboard markers may be checked out at the Circulation Desk. Special whiteboard wall markers are required for the wall in Study Room 211.

Other Library Spaces

Library Classroom (#106): The classroom may be reserved on a one-time basis for group study or for occasional classroom instruction. Contact Marianne Stowell Bracke (x4483) to reserve. Reservations may be canceled by library staff, with due notice, no less than 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled use if a conflicting Library Instruction program need arises.

Curriculum Library (#142): May be reserved for Education classes or other groups for workshops using the materials housed in the library. Open to all library users at other times. Reservations must be made with the Reference Desk (x4491).

Quiet Study: A quiet study room with comfortable chairs is available on the first floor across from the Circulation Desk. Other designated quiet areas are located throughout the library.
