Zotero for MAC: Getting Started
You will need to install both Zotero and a web browser connector which work together.
You also will need either Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Zotero will not work with Pages.
Locate the downloaded .dmg file in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the .dmg file and open it.
A window will appear showing the Zotero application and the Applications folder.
Drag and drop the Zotero icon into the Applications folder.
Launch Zotero:
Open the Applications folder.
Double-click Zotero to launch the application.
If you receive a security warning, click "Open".
Download and Install the Web Connector for Zotero
Zotero uses a connector to capture information about an item (e.g., article, book, website) as you browse library databases or the internet. Installing the web connector puts a Zotero icon on browser's toolbar. Clicking the Zotero enables save online items to Zotero. Click on the Zotero Website below to add the Web Connector.
