Integrated Digitized BiocollectionsIntegrated Digitized Biocollections (iDigBio) is the result of a collaboration between the Network Integrated Biological Alliance (NIBA) community and the NSF Advancing Digitization of Biodiversity Collections (ADBC) program. It is a ten-year plan to digitize the approximately one billion biological specimens held in museums, universities, and institutions across the United States and make them searchable and available to everyone via the iDigBio portal.
Visible Body is a selection of multimedia apps that allows users to explore human anatomy through 3-D examination. Included in Whitworth's collection is Human Anatomy Atlas, Physiology & Pathology, and Muscle Premium.
Mobile apps are also available. Search in Apple Store or Google Play for 2021 Atlas Perpetual, 2020 P&P Perpetual, or 2018 Muscle Premium Perpetual - do not purchase, they should be the free versions. The initial download is large. Once downloaded, you can only gain access by logging into WhitStaff or WhitStudent Wifi networks on campus and opening the app. You will then have access from anywhere for 150 days.
