In this collection you will find a selection of literary journals, both Modernist and contemporary, that encapsulate the impact of literary journals on the world of literature. We have chosen to name this collection Loomis as an homage to Ezra Loomis Pound, who was certainly one of the most prominent figures in the world of literary journals throughout the Modernist period, and whose storied life has had a lasting impact on the literary community to this day. What began as a running joke in our class discussions has materialized into this collection. As you explore please take note of a few things: 1) literary journals are ever-evolving 2) the works collected here are by no means exhaustive 3) we do not, unlike Pound, support or advocate fascism.
