Open Educational Resources (OER)

are resources that have been released under creative commons license or in the public domain and permit no-cost access, use, adaptation, copying and sharing.

Creative Commons License

are the open license for OER. There are six different creative commons with different terms of use.

Public Domain

is owned by the public, is freely available, and not under copyright.
