Please be aware that predatory publishers are a growing issue. In general, these charge a fee without providing peer review or editing publication services. These publishers typically contact authors, often new faculty, directly via email to offer services or encourage presentations at academic conferences. This may lead to lose of copyright, damage to reputation, and loss of money.
