This online streaming catalog includes HD videos (from the Met’s award-winning Live in HD series of worldwide cinema transmissions), classic telecasts (standard-definition videos that were originally broadcast live on television from 1977-2003), and radio broadcast (audio-only) performances dating back to 1935 (from the Met’s long-running series of Saturday matinee radio broadcasts as well as more recent satellite radio broadcasts.)

- Library of Congress--African-American Band Music & Recordings, 1883-1923The core of this presentation consists of "stock" arrangements for bands or small orchestras of popular songs written by African Americans. In addition, we offer a smaller selection of historic sound recordings illustrating these songs and many others by the same composers (the arrangements might not necessarily be the same as those on the stocks). Educational materials include short biographies of composers and performers of the time and historical essays.

Music recordings are classed under M in the library; recordings can be found in the Martin Music Library CD Case and Oversize CD Shelf, on the main floor of the library. To search for a specific recording you can use the library search, then limit the Resource Type to "audio CDs", or use the search-box below, which automatically adds that limit.
