Established to honor Dr. Kenneth W. Shipps, Whitworth College Provost 1992-1996, the Shipps Memorial Library Fund supports the purchase of books on faith and learning, faith and vocation, Christian higher education, and Christian perspectives on academic disciplines and social or political issues. 

Each year books are added to the library's collection following these guidelines. Many of the books listed have been acquired through the Shipps Library Fund.
